we strolled along to go see Giuseppe Penone, ooh the white and gold one was so beautiful, like a kintsugi tree. nearby are the more splindly looking ones, rootless, large granite stones fixed in and around them. that same security guard who I’d offered a hug to knew he’s enjoyed our company and wanted a bit more, there he was, eagerly coming towards us with a ‘quiz night, but let’s play it right now’ on his mind; did we think the rocks were real? and what about the trees, what were they made from? bronze! he loved that. and what about those rocks in the trees, could they be granite too? it’s pretty impressive just how Giuseppe, and/or his technicians cast those trees; were they done in one piece? that would be pretty awesome.
I suggested to R that she do one of her dancer poses on one of the rocks and I’d take a photo
my turn, my turn, ‘cept mine turned into Warrior 3
I am the warrior
now let’s see if you can make it look like I am reaching for one of the tree rocks
focus
ground yourself
balance
check the photo
retake
not too bad
